Dispatch System
At Five One Taxis we use the latest in technology to
ensure that we provide the most reliable and efficient
service possible. Our central system tracks and monitors
all of our taxis and every booking so that we can get
a taxi out to our customers in the shortest possible
time frame.
GPS Tracking System
All of our taxis are tracked using a Global
Positioning System, each taxi location is displayed
on screens in our offices and logged by the despatch
system. The system automatically dispatches the nearest
available taxi so that wait times are reduced significantly.
Ringback Service
No more looking out the window to see if your taxi has
arrived, our system will automatically call you back
when the taxi it waiting outside. This service is completely
free and works on both landline and mobile telephones.
Text a Taxi
Our Text a Taxi software is an extension to our existing
system that processes all text message bookings sent
to our server. The operator logs your booking into the
system as normal and a booking conformation text message
is sent back to you within minutes.
